Biografi/ Biography :
Noorasiah Sulaiman, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Sustainable and Inclusive Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She received a Bachelor`s degree in economics from UKM (1994), a Master of Economics from Saitama University, Japan (1998) and a PhD in Economics from UPM. Her expertise in input-output analysis, computable general equilibrium (CGE) model, data envelopment analysis (DEA) and stochastic frontier analysis (SFA). She teaches on development economy, economic planning and labour economics. Her research interests are on various issues of labour, development economy and policy studies. She has published books and articles in a journal, local and international. She had been awarded research grants from various funding agencies, including national and international, and was appointed as a consultant for several private and government institutions.
