Biografi/ Biography :
Mohammad Khatim Hasan was born in Teluk Intan, Perak in 1971. He received the B.Sc degree in Mathematics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia in 1996, and the Master of Information Technology (Industrial Computing) also from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia in 1998, and Ph. D. degree in Computer Network (focusing on Numerical and Parallel Computing) in 2008 from Universiti Putra Malaysia. In 1998 he joined the Research and Development Department of Telekom Malaysia Berhad as a research officer, Later in the same year, he joined the Faculty of Information Science and Technology as a Lecturer. Since 2009 he was appointed as Associate Professor. He has conducted various research in the field of numerical and parallel computing, quality control, cloud computing and mathematical based software for 20 years. His current research interests include numerical and parallel computing, cloud computing, robotics, transport safety, quality technology, and prediction technology. He has published more than 200 publications since 1998. He is a member of Malaysia Mathematical Society, Malaysian Islamic Science Academy, International Association of Engineers, Moslem Statisticians and Mathematicians Society in South East Asia, Malaysian Information Technology Society and Association of Computing Machinery. He was the Deputy Director of UKM Computer Center from 2010-2013, Head of Industrial Computing Programme in 2010, Head of Industrial Computing Research Group form 2015-2017. He is currently the Head of Innovative Computing Technology Lab of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Research Fellow of UKM Islamic Centre.
