Biografi/ Biography :
Profesor Madya Dr. Ahmad Khaldun Ismail ialah seorang Pakar Perunding Kanan di Jabatan Perubatan Kecemasan, Fakulti Perubatan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia dan Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Beliau juga: cendekiawan pelawat di Graduate School of Medicine, Universiti Tohoku, Sendai, Jepun; pakar kehormat di Pusat Racun Negara, Universiti Sains Malaysia; sumber pakar di Sistem Maklumat Keanekaragaman Biologi Malaysia, Kementerian Tenaga dan Sumber Asli; ahli Roster Pakar Global dan Kumpulan Penasihat Teknikal tentang Pencegahan dan Kawalan Penyakit Gigitan Ular Organisasi Kesihatan Sedunia. Beliau adalah Penasihat dan pengasas Perkhidmatan Konsultasi Kebisaan Maya (RECS ASEAN); Kumpulan Khusus bidang Toksinologi Klinikal bagi Kolej Doktor Perubatan Kecemasan Malaysia, dan Konferens Pengurusan Gigitan Haiwan Marin & Ular ASEAN (AMSEM). Beliau adalah penasihat Persatuan Toksinologi Malaysia dan Persatuan Toksinologi Filipina, ahli tetap Persatuan Antarabangsa Toksinologi, dan ahli Persatuan Toksinologi Perubatan Asia Pasifik (APAMT) dan Persatuan Toksinologi Klinikal & Analisis Jepun (J`s-CAT). Beliau memiliki penulisan penyelidikan dan akademik dalam bidang yang berkaitan.

Professor Madya Dr. Ahmad Khaldun Ismail is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is also: visiting scholar at the Graduate School of Medicine, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan; honorary consultant at the National Poison Centre, Universiti Sains Malaysia; expert resource at the Malaysian Biodiversity Information System, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources; member of the WHO Global Roster of Experts and Technical Advisory Group on the Prevention and Control of Snakebite Envenoming. He is the Founding Advisor of Remote Envenomation Consultancy Services (RECS ASEAN); the Clinical Toxinology Special Interest Group of the College of Emergency Physicians, and the ASEAN Marine Animals & Snakes Envenoming (Poisoning) Management (AMSEM) conference. He is an advisor of the Malaysian Society on Toxinology and Philippines Toxinology Society, a life member of the International Society on Toxinology, and a member of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Toxicology (APAMT) and Japanese Society of Clinical & Analytical Toxicology (J’s-CAT). He holds the authorship of several research and academic publications in related area of interests.
