   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Professor Madya (Klinikal) Leelavathi A/P Muthupalaniappen telah memulakan kerjayanya sebagai ahli akademik dan Pakar Perubatan Keluarga di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia pada tahun 2004. Sebelum itu, beliau telah berkhidmat di Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia sebagai pegawai perubatan selama tujuh tahun. Beliau memperoleh ijazah perubatan dari SMS Medical College, Jaipur (India) dan Sarjana Perubatan Keluarga dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Pada tahun 2007, beliau telah memperoleh Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology (GDFPD) dari Pusat Kulit Kebangsaan, Universiti Kebangsaan Singapura (NUS). Beliau juga telah menjalankan latihan sangkutan sepenuh masa di Klinik Dermatologi, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, yang merupakan institusi terkenal untuk latihan dalam bidang dermatologi. Pada tahun 2013 beliau telah menjalankan latihan sangkutan di Klinik Aesthetics, Subang Jaya dan laser dermatologi di Hospital Kuala Lumpur yang telah memberikan beliau kemahiran dalam bidang laser CO2, pengurusan parut dan kelioid. Professor Madya Leelavathi, kini memberi perkhidmatannya di Klinik Primer PPUKM, Klinik Warga HCTM (klinik kakitangan UKM) dan Klinik Dermatologi HCTM yang mengutamakan rawatan penjagaan primer dan dermatologi. Beliau terlibat dalam pengajaran pelajar siswazah perubatan, pergigian dan pascasiswazah sarjana perubatan keluarga. Beliau juga aktif dalam projek penyelidikan dalam bidang rawatan penjagaan primer dan dermatologi. Beliau telah berjaya menerbitkan artikel-artikel dalam jurnal nasional, antarabangsa dan giat mengambil bahagian dalam pesidangan perubatan sebagai penceramah dan juga peserta.
