   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Fatimah dianugerahkan BSc dan MSc dari Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) sebelum melanjutkan Part III di Universiti Cambridge. PhD-nya diperoleh dari Complexity and Networks Group (sekarang dikenal sebagai Centre for Complexity Science) dan Jabatan Matematik Imperial College London. Penyelidikannya berbentuk kolaborasi multidisiplin melibatkan penggunaan berbagai pendekatan matematik untuk bercerita melalui data dan model matematik, terutamanya menggunakan Sains Rangkaian (Network Science), Sistem Kompleks (Complex Systems), dan Analisis Data Bertopologi (Topological Data Analysis).
Fatimah Abdul Razak teaches at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science & Technology, UKM. She received her BSc and MSc from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) before pursuing Part III of the Mathematical Tripos at the University of Cambridge. Her PhD was with the Complexity and Networks Group (rebranded the Centre for Complexity Science) and the Department of Mathematics, Imperial College London. The former IIUM debater and lifelong language lover believes that mathematics is the most beautiful language of them all. She hopes to infect others with this belief and love for mathematics. Her current research and multidisciplinary collaborations involve using various mathematical approaches to tell stories from data especially using Network Science, Complex Systems, Probabilistic Statistical Mechanics, Graph Theory, Dynamical Systems and Topological Data Analysis.
