Biografi/ Biography :
Dr Herryawan Ryadi Eziwar Dyari ialah seorang ahli mikrobiologi dan bioteknologi marin. Beliau merupakan Pensyarah Kanan di Jabatan Sains Bumi dan Alam Sekitar serta turut berkhidmat sebagai Ketua Pusat Penyelidikan Ekosistem Marin (EKOMAR). Penyelidikan beliau memfokuskan kepada kesihatan terumbu karang, pembangunan makanan akuakultur, plastisfera, ekotoksikologi akuatik, biotinjauan marin, bioremediasi dan biofouling, dengan penekanan khusus terhadap akuakultur mampan, inisiatif ekonomi biru serta program eko-pelancongan dan pendidikan berasaskan alam semula jadi yang menghubungkan sains dengan masyarakat. Penyelidikan dan pengajaran beliau sejajar dengan Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan Persatuan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu ke-14 (Hidupan di Bawah Laut), yang menyumbang kepada pemuliharaan dan penggunaan lestari kepelbagaian biologi marin serta memupuk kecelikan lautan melalui aktiviti bersama masyarakat.
Dr Herryawan Ryadi Eziwar Dyari is a marine microbiologist and biotechnologist. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Earth Sciences and Environment and also serves as Head of the Marine Ecosystem Research Centre (EKOMAR). His research focuses on coral reef health, the development of aquaculture feeds, the plastisphere, aquatic ecotoxicology, marine bioprospecting, bioremediation and biofouling, with a particular emphasis on sustainable aquaculture, blue economy initiatives, and nature-based eco-tourism and education programmes that connect science with communities. His research and teaching are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water), contributing to the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity and fostering ocean literacy through community-based activities.
