His active involvement extends to the creation of microbial electrochemical-based sensors designed for monitoring the quality of polluted water and wastewater. These sensors not only detect abnormalities but also play a crucial role in safeguarding wastewater treatment facilities by identifying potential issues.
Engaged in fundamental research, Swee Su is dedicated to identifying optimal materials for sensors and their applications in METs. This includes exploring materials for enhanced sensor performance and their integration into METs for applications such as CO2 reduction and power generation.
