  •    Biografi/ Biography :

  • Dr. Lily Hanefarezan Asbulah is a Senior Lecturer at the Research Centre for Arabic Language and Islamic Civilization, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She previously served at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, University of Malaya, as a Senior Lecturer. She was also appointed as a Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at Kyoto University, Japan (2023–2024). Dr. Lily earned her Doctor of Education in Arabic Language Education and completed her postdoctoral research at Kyoto University, Japan. She also holds a Master’s degree in Arabic Linguistics Studies from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language from Université Ibn Tofail, Kenitra, Morocco.Her areas of specialization include Arabic linguistics, Arabic education, language and learning technologies, language testing, and research methodology. With over 15 years of academic experience, she has produced numerous journal articles and books. Dr. Lily is actively involved in academic collaboration and remains open to opportunities in consultation, research, and community engagement.
