   Biografi/ Biography :


  • Dr. Md Khan Sobayel Bin Rafiq, CEng has attained his PhD from National University of Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia in 2019. He is currently serving as Senior Lecturer at Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) in National University of Malaysia (UKM). Prior to joining in UKM, he has an experience in serving both in academic and industrial arena under different capacities for over 10 years. His research interest includes design and fabrication of thin film solar cell, perovskite solar cell, layer optimization in thin films, development of energy efficient IoT devices, coating, renewable energy waste management and material physics. He is an Youth Editorial Board member of IJMMM, Springer publishers and guest editor to Frontiers in Materials journal. He is a registered chartered engineer and active member of the Engineering Council, UK. He is also a certified peer reviewer of many WoS journals including IEEE photovoltaics, Solar Energy etc. He had received national awards in his early days for his contribution in National ID card project. Dr. Sobayel is a member of American Association for the Advancement of Science, The Institution of Engineering Technology UK, Institute of Physics (IOP) UK, Material Research Forum LLC and IEEE community.
