Curriculum Vitae

Winnie Kariza Bakri is a lecturer in Geography at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at UKM. She obtained her Bachelor`s degree in Geography from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and later pursued her Master`s degree in Environmental Management from the same institution. With over six years of industrial experience, Winnie has worked extensively in environmental consultancy and construction. Notably, she played a crucial role in the development of a hydropower plant and rock-fill water supply dam in Sabah as an Environmental Officer. Her expertise lies in various areas, including Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Audit and Monitoring, Proposal of Mitigation Measures, Environmental Management, and Environmental Risk studies during her posting as an Environmental Consultant in her early career.
