Curriculum Vitae

Dr Loo Guo Hou memperoleh MBBS dari Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), India pada tahun 2011. Beliau memperoleh MRCS (Ireland) pada tahun 2017 dan lulusan pascasiswazah (Dr. of General Surgery) UKM pada tahun 2022. Selepas berkhidmat di negeri Sarawak sebagai pakar bedah am di Hospital Umum Sarawak, Hospital Miri dan kemudian berkhidmat sebagai Ketua Jabatan Pembedahan di Hospital Limbang, beliau menyertai Unit Upper GI dan Pembedahan Metabolik sebagai pakar bedah am. Dr Loo Guo Hou juga aktif dalam penyelidikan dan penerbitan, terutamanya dalam bidang upper GI dan Pembedahan Metabolik. Beliau telah membentang dan menerbitkan banyak artikel tempatan dan antarabangsa dalam bidang upper GI dan Pembedahan Metabolik.
Dr Loo Guo Hou graduated from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), India in 2011. He obtained his MRCS (Ireland) in 2017 and his Doctor of General Surgery UKM in 2022. After serving the state of Sarawak as a general surgeon at Sarawak General Hospital, Miri Hospital and then serving as the Head of the Department of Surgery at Limbang Hospital, he joined the upper GIT and Metabolic Surgery Unit as a general surgeon. Dr Loo Guo Hou is also active in research and publication, especially in the area of Upper GI and Metabolic Surgery. He has presented and published many articles locally and internationally in the area of Upper GI and Metabolic Surgery.
