1. The development of Kad Prihatin Siswa initiative is among the eleven (11) agendas proposed by the representatives of the National Student Consultative Council (MPPK) to the YAB Prime Minister as a result of the meeting held on 30 June 2020;
2. A series of discussions and meetings were held with various relevant parties to detail the implementation mechanism and policies to be adopted, especially with the Strategic Partner of Kad Prihatin Siswa, RHB Bank;
3. In line with the digital payment norm that is gaining ground today, the introduction of dual-function student matrix card is the best alternative in the implementation of the Kad Prihatin Siswa initiative which directly supports the Cashless Campus ecosystem in UKM;
4. This Kad Prihatin Siswa is a debit card that will also function as a student matric card. In addition, an e-wallet application will also be introduced so that the special offers of this payment platform can be given to students effectively;
5. Proposals and methods of implementation of the Kad Prihatin Siswa Initiative as a whole include the phases and stages of implementation in each university, changes/transfer systems and techniques (transferring system), as well as the use of the card that will function as debit cards and student matrix cards

1. Strengthen and diversify the functions of the IPT matrix card.
2. Facilitate the distribution of allocations or financial assistance directly to students.
3. Transformation of financial transaction ecosystem in UKM towards cashless campus.
4. Standardize resources or facilities and offers/privileges/rewards/promotions to IPT students.

Duration of Implementation
The proposed use of the Kad Prihatin Siswa by students is expected to be implemented starting semester 1, academic session 2022/2023.
