Biografi/ Biography :
Ruzian Markom holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honors (1993)and Bachelor of Laws (Shariah)(1994) with Honors from the International Islamic University of Malaysia; Master of Business Laws from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (1996), and a doctoral degree in law from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (2011). She called to the Bar (Malaya) in 2002. Currently, she is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She teaches Islamic Financial Systems, Advanced Takaful, Muamalat, and Islamic financial laws. Her research interest is in sustainable and responsible investment and green financing. Her publications include books, chapters of books, articles in indexed and non-indexed journals in Malaysia and internationally. She is also a member of the International Islamic Council Islamic Finance Educators, Association of Shariah Advisor in Islamic Finance (ASAS), Panel Assessor for Finance Accreditation Agency, and Panel Assessor for Program of Laws of Malaysian Qualifying Accreditation. (MQA).
