Biografi/ Biography :
Hasani Mohd Ali is Professor of Law at Faculty of Law, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia whose faculty he joined in 1994 as a tutor, and where he began teaching in 1996. He has been Deputy Dean from 2012 until 2014 and reappointed in 2018 until 2019. Hasani teaches company law and the related areas including corporate governance, securities regulation and insolvency. His research and writing focus on the main themes of corporate governance and corporate responsibility, which are aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is a member of various committees at Companies Commission of Malaysia, Ministry of Higher Education and Public Services Department of Malaysia. He is frequently invited as keynote speaker and thesis examiner at various universities and research institutions within Malaysia and internationally including in Indonesia, People’s Republic of China, Australia and Japan. He was invited as a visiting professor for “International Corporate Law and Practices” at Global Master Program (GMAP), Graduate School, Faculty of Law, Kobe University for 2016/2017 session. He is also a member of the panel of expert contributors to "The Annotated Malaysian Companies Act 2016, published in 2017 by Thomson Reuters (Malaysian Legislation Series) and revised in 202
