ROSILAH HASSAN (SMIEE, Dr.) ialah Profesor di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (U.K.M.) di Fakulti Teknologi dan Sains Maklumat (FTSM). Beliau menerima PhD dalam Komunikasi Mudah Alih dari University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, pada Mei 2008. Beliau memperoleh Sarjana Kejuruteraan Elektrikal (M.E.E.) dalam Komputer dan Komunikasi dari U.K.M., Malaysia, pada tahun 1999. Ijazah pertamanya ialah BSc. dalam Kejuruteraan Elektronik dari Universiti Hanyang, Seoul, Korea Selatan. Rosilah Hassan bekerja sebagai Jurutera dengan Samsung Electronic Malaysia di Seremban, Malaysia, sebelum menyertai U.K.M. pada tahun 1997. Selain menjadi pensyarah, beliau mempunyai pengalaman dalam jawatan pengurusan universiti sebagai Timbalan Pengarah keusahawanan akademik selama lebih tujuh tahun. Beliau juga pernah menjadi ketua makmal Teknologi Rangkaian dan Komunikasi (N.C.T.) di fakultinya selama hampir sepuluh tahun. Bidang penyelidikan beliau ialah Sistem Komunikasi Mudah Alih, Rangkaian, IoT, dan Data Besar. Beliau mempunyai pengalaman sebagai pemeriksa luar untuk Sarjana dan PhD di peringkat kebangsaan dan antarabangsa.
ROSILAH HASSAN (SMIEE,, Dr.) is a Professor at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (U.K.M.) in the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FTSM). She received her PhD in Mobile Communication from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, in May 2008. She obtained her Master of Electrical (M.E.E.) Engineering in Computer and Communication from the U.K.M., Malaysia, in 1999. Her first Degree was BSc. in Electronic Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea. Rosilah Hassan worked as an Engineer with Samsung Electronic Malaysia in Seremban, Malaysia, before joining U.K.M. in 1997. Besides being a senior lecturer, she has experience in management posts for the university as the deputy director of academic entrepreneurship for over seven years. She has also been the head of the Network and Communication Technology (N.C.T.) lab in her faculty for almost ten years. Her research interests are Mobile Communications Systems, Networking, IoT, and Big Data. She has had experience as an external examiner for a Master`s and PhD at both national and international levels.
