Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Azizah Ugusman is an Associate Professor and the Head of Physiology Department , Faculty of
Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She graduated with distinction in Medicine from UKM and obtained her Ph.D. in Physiology from the same university. Following her Ph.D., she completed her postdoctoral training at the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Her research area is cardiovascular physiology and pharmacology with a special focus on vascular endothelial dysfunction and hypertension. Dr. Azizah has published over 60 articles in WoS/Scopus indexed journals. She also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer in high impact journals at national and international levels. To date, she is the principal investigator of several internal and external research grants.
