Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Hilwa Abdullah @ Mohd. Nor is currently a lecturer and clinical psychologist at the Centre for Psychology and Human Well-being, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia. She earned her Bachelor of Science Honours in Science Nutrition in 2004, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Psychology in 2005 and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2007 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She also received her PhD in Psychological Medicine from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2018. Dr. Hilwa specializes in clinical psychology specifically in mental health and psychology of child and adolescence. Her research focuses on the causes, prevalence, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for various mental disorders such as schizophrenia, autism and depression among young people. She has been invited in various TV live talk show such as RTM, Astro, NTV7, Al-Hijrah, sharing and creating awareness about postpartum depression, dyslexia, depression, and the impact of media social addiction. She has been appointed as one of the development committee for the development of Clinical Practice Guideline Management of Schizophrenia (Second Edition) by Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Moreover, Dr. Hilwa also attached with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Malaysia as a visiting consultant in providing the voluntary services for the refugees.
