Dr Jumril Yunas memperoleh Ph.D. pada tahun 2008 daripada Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia dalam peranti dan teknologi MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical System) dan Dipl.-Ing./MSc. pada tahun 1997 dari Universiti Teknologi RWTH Aachen di Jerman dalam teknologi semikonduktor. Dr Jumril Yunas kini bekerja sebagai profesor madya di Institut Kejuruteraan Mikro dan Nanoelektronik-UKM. Minat penyelidikan beliau adalah dalam sistem mikroelektromekanikal dan nanoelektronik dan aplikasi kejuruteraan mereka, seperti mikrosensor dan penggerak untuk kejuruteraan bioperubatan, dan Lab-on-Chip. Beliau mempunyai 6 paten dan menerbitkan lebih daripada 100 kertas penyelidikan.
Dr. Jumril Yunas obtained his Ph.D. in 2008 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical System) devices and technology and Dipl.-Ing./MSc. in 1997 from the University of Technology RWTH Aachen in Germany in semiconductor technology. Dr. Jumril Yunas is currently working as associate professor at the Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics-UKM. His research interest is in microelectromechanical system and nanoelectronics and their engineering applications, such as microsensors and actuators for biomedical engineering, and Lab-on-Chip. He has 6 patents and published more than 100 research papers.
