Biografi/ Biography :
Norfazrin is a lecturer in the Department of Earth Sciences and Environment, Faculty of Science & Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Norfazrin has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. Norfazrin started her academic career in 2011, teaching various chemistry-related subjects in public and private institutions. Prior joining academia, Norfazrin served as a researcher in Consultancy Services, Malaysia Industry Government Group for High Technology (MiGHT). Research-wise, Norfazrin is experienced in atmospheric chemistry specifically in understanding tropospheric abundances, emissions, and transport of ozone-depleting substances on regional and global scales using models and observations. Norfazrin’s interests are in atmospheric composition, chemistry and transport, and in understanding how natural and anthropogenic emissions of trace gases affect regional air quality and global climate. Norfazrin also interested in various aspects of atmospheric science and its integration with the environment, health, policy and socio-economic aspect. Norfazrin current research interest is on microplastic in the atmosphere.
