  •    Biografi/ Biography :

  • Dr. Ahmad Fazlizan memiliki Ijazah Doktor Falsafah (PhD) dalam bidang Tenaga dari Universiti Malaya (UM), Sarjana Kejuruteraan juga dari UM dan Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Mekanikal dari Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Beliau kini berkhidmat sebagai Profesor Madya dan Felo Penyelidik Kanan di Institut Penyelidikan Tenaga Suria (SERI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Bidang penyelidikan beliau merangkumi tenaga angin (kincir angin, penilaian sumber tenaga, aerodinamik dan lain-lain), tenaga suria (suria terma, sistem tenaga suria, sistem hibrid), serta dinamik bendalir komputeran (CFD). Beliau telah menyumbang lebih daripada 100 penerbitan, terutamanya dalam jurnal berimpak tinggi, berdasarkan penyelidikan dalam bidang-bidang tersebut. Dr. Ahmad Fazlizan merupakan ahli Young Scientist Network – Akademi Sains Malaysia. Beliau juga berperanan sebagai wakil alternatif untuk Jawatankuasa Penyelidikan Tenaga Mampan (SCSER) di bawah Jawatankuasa ASEAN mengenai Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (ASEAN COSTI).
    Dr. Ahmad Fazlizan holds a PhD in Energy from the University of Malaya (UM), Master`s Degree also from UM and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is currently an Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow at the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research interests include wind energy (wind turbines, wind resource assessment, etc.), solar energy (solar thermal, solar energy systems, hybrid systems), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). He has contributed to over 100 publications, primarily in high-impact journals, based on his research in these fields. Dr. Ahmad Fazlizan is a member of the Young Scientist Network – Academy of Sciences Malaysia. He also serves as an alternate focal point for the Sub-Committee on Sustainable Energy Research (SCSER) under the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (ASEAN COSTI).
