Nuriah Abd Majid merupakan seorang pensyarah dan felo penyelidik di Institut Alam Sekitar dan Pembangunan, (LESTARI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Bidang kepakaran adalah dalam bidang Geospatial Sustainablity; Sistem Maklumat Geografi, Geo bencana, Pemodelan ruangan dan Geografi bandar. Kerana minat yang mendalam beliau meneruskan penyelidikan dalam menyelesaikan isu-isu yang melibatkan ruangan dan lokasi yang sangat berkait rapat dengan alam sekitar dan kelestarian.
"Nuriah Abd Majid is a lecturer and research fellow at the Institute of Environment and Development (LESTARI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her area of expertise is in Geospatial Sustainability; Geographic Information Systems, Geohazard, Spatial Modeling, and Urban Geography. Due to her deep interest, she continues her research in addressing issues closely related to spatial and locational aspects that are highly interconnected with the environment and sustainability."
