Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Mohd Zamre Mohd Zahir graduated with DPA, BLS, DSLP, LL.B (Hons), LL.M from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). Upon graduating, he started his pupillage in a legal firm at Shah Alam, Selangor and was called to the Bar in the year 2013. He is now a Senior Lecturer at the Law Faculty of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) after obtaining his Ph.D from UKM in the year 2020. His areas of interests are mainly on Medical Law and Ethics, Law of Torts, Criminal Law particularly in the area of Advance Medical Directive (AMD) (Arahan Perubatan Awal [APA]), euthanasia and patient’s consent to medical treatment. Dr. Mohd Zamre Mohd Zahir has published numerous articles in the area of Medical Law, particularly on Advance Medical Directive (AMD) (Arahan Perubatan Awal [APA]), euthanasia and patient’s consent to medical treatment. Qualifications: DPA, BLS (Hons) (UiTM), Diploma Lepasan Ijazah Syariah (DLSP), LL.B (Hons) (UiTM), LL.M (UiTM), Ph.D (UKM) and Advocate and Solicitor.
