   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Abdullah Al Mamun has been working at the UKM Graduate School of Business at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia since January 2022 as an associate professor. Previously, he worked at the Faculty of Business and Management, UCSI University, Malaysia, as an Associate Professor (2020–2021) and at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, as a Senior Lecturer (2012–2019). He completed his MBA and PhD from the Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. His research interests include development economics, entrepreneurship, and environmental economics. He received 23 grants and published seven books and more than 250 articles and book chapters. These articles have been cited by other scholars more than 6700 times with an H index of 45. He received recognition as one of the distinguished scholars featured in Stanford University`s compilation of the world`s top scientists, specifically in the 2023 edition of the Top 2% Scientist list. He has positions as a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies, as an Associate Editor for Heliyon, and as an Academic Editor for PLOS One. During the period of 2014 to 2023, he was honored to receive the Excellent Service Award for Publication from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan and University Kebangsaan Malaysia. In the year 2019, he was also honored with the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Reviewer.
