Mohd Sabirin Rahmat has started register for higher learning education level at Politeknik Port Dickson and he has awarded Certificate in Mechanical Engineering majoring automotive in 2005. In 2007, he has registered as diploma student at Politeknik Kota Bharu and he has awarded Diploma in Mechanical Engineering majoring automotive. In 2008, he continues further study at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) under programme Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) (Hons) and graduated in 2011. After a few years in industry, he continues study at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and was awarded a Master of Science (Research) in Mechanical Engineering (Vehicle Dynamic Control) in 2015. In 2020, he received Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM). In June 2020, he was appointed by UPNM as Postdoctoral Fellows for a year. Then, In May 2021, he joined MAHSA University as a Mechanical Lecturer. Next, in August 2022, he was promoted as Head of Programme Mechanical Department (Bachelor and Diploma Programme) until 18 May 2024. In 2024, he was registered Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) under mechanical engineering branch. Now, he served with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as Senior lecturer at department of mechanical and manufacturing engineering, faculty of engineering and built environment. His main area of specialization is in automotive vehicle dynamic, automotive control and smart materials and structures system. He actively engaged in research areas such as x-by-wire technology, vehicle safety and electric.
