  • A chartered psychologist, academic pioneer, and award-winning creative, Dr. Nurwina Akmal Anuar has 17 years of expertise in education, research, and leadership. She connects the classroom to the real world with her experience in digital innovation, inclusive education, sports psychology, and neuroscience. With her evidence-based therapy, she provides neuroscience-based wellness programs, mental skill coaching, imagery training, and anxiety treatment. Published in top journals publish peer-reviewed articles. Her accomplishments were honored at the 2025 QS Reimagine Education Awards in London and 2026 THE Awards Asia in Hong Kong. The Oscars of academia, these awards are outstanding. Only she owned fifteen intellectual properties. This web-savvy instructor has developed three official online platforms that use AI and learning analytics to teach. planned and built the Malaysian Psychology Society website. She worked on RM6.1 million to student welfare facilities as deputy director. She also created a business scholarship fund that has given qualified students RM620,000. She helps PhD candidates finish well. She teaches Malaysians psychological tactics as an HRD Corp-certified trainer. Winner of the 2026 UKM Outstanding Service Award (Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang) and the two-time UKM Individual Excellence Award for Overall Performance and Innovation. She`s also PSIMA High Council`s assistant honorary secretary. Dr. Nurwina is a paragon of scientific proficiency, business savvy, and unselfish leadership. She has appeared as a national expert commentator in print and online media on psychology, mental health, neuroscience, and education (15+ appearances in three years). Dr. Nurwina epitomizes academic success through rigour, entrepreneurial vision, and servant leadership.
