   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Wan Aida Wan Mustapha adalah seorang Profesor di Jabatan Sains Makanan, Fakulti Sains & Teknologi (FST), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Beliau adalah diiktiraf sebagai Teknologis Profesional (Teknologi Makanan, MBOT), Penganalisis Makanan Berdaftar sejak 2014 (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia) dan ahli seumur hidup di Institut Teknologi Makanan Malaysia (MIFT). Berkelulusan BSc. (Kepujian.) dalam Sains Makanan dan Pemakanan pada tahun 1992 dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia dan dianugerahkan PhD (Sains Makanan) oleh University of Nottingham, United Kingdom pada tahun 1997. Berkhidmat sebagai Timbalan Dekan Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi, yang bertanggungjawab untuk pelajar prasiswazah (2018-2021) serta pernah di lantik sebagai Pengerusi, Pusat Pengajian Sains Kimia dan Teknologi Makanan (2014-2018) dan Ketua Program Sains Makanan (2007-2010; 2013-2014). Sejak 2012 beliau merupakan salah seorang editor Sains Malaysiana (di bawah Sains Makanan dan Pemakanan) iaitu jurnal pelbagai disiplin yang diindeks dalam ISI Thompson dan SCOPUS. Bidang kepakaran beliau merangkumi kimia makanan, analisis makanan, ingredien makanan dan makanan fungsian.
